Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia is the voice of the heavy construction materials industry in Australia. CCAA members produce the majority of Australia's cement, concrete, and aggregates, which are crucial to Australia's building and construction sectors. The industry generates approximately $15 Billion in annual revenues and employs approximately 30,000 Australians directly and a further 80,000 indirectly.
We are seeking a Manager Communications to lead CCAA's communications activities. This role will strengthen CCAA's profile with members, government, media, and the community.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing CCAA's Strategic Communications Plan.
* Managing media relations, digital channels, publications, and social media.
* Assist in developing and translating policy positions into clear, accessible language.
* Supporting advocacy campaigns, submissions, and stakeholder engagement.
About you:
* Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent experience.
* Strong background in communications or media, ideally in a member-based or advocacy organisation.
* Excellent writing, media, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in digital communications and social media.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
