About the roleThe Manager – Attraction, Recruitment & Partnership is a senior administrative/management support position responsible for recruiting high quality domestic and international candidates into the Graduate Research School; developing and leading initiatives and programs that will support HDR growth; overseeing recruitment into newly developed HDR pathways; attracting new streams of scholarship funding; and managing issues relating to admissions; enrolment and recruitment. This position provides research policy/procedural advice, support and reporting for the efficient and effective administration of Higher Degree by Research candidature within the University.
About youTo be successful in this role, you will have:Management experience in higher education, demonstrated leadership capacity, and the ability to work effectively to build team cohesion.High level planning and analytical skills, strategic thinking and problem solving, and a well-developed understanding of Research Higher Degree expertise in the management of people, programs and systems preferably within the domain of Higher Degree Research.Proven ability to drive growth in a HDR setting.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability in consultation and negotiationWillingness and open to change
About the Faculty/School/DepartmentThe Graduate Research School facilitates and supports the University’s HDR candidature through the provision of administrative services and support to manage, develop and promote HDR study, research training, knowledge transfer and innovation.
