Based in the beautiful Murray River town of Echuca, this senior leadership role offers the opportunity to apply your financial expertise in an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation committed to delivering quality services.
About The Role
1. Oversee financial services, including budgeting, payroll, purchasing, grants, contracts, and compliance.
2. Provide strategic financial leadership to support organisational growth and sustainability.
3. Manage a team of six and collaborate closely with the executive team.
4. Ensure financial planning, risk management, and resource optimisation align with Njernda’s strategic goals.
About You
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, or a related field.
2. CPA qualification essential.
3. Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally in an Aboriginal or not-for-profit organisation.
4. Strong financial planning, reporting, and analytical skills.
5. High-level communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
