We’re hiring a Hospital Assistant – Catering, to join our dedicated Patient Support Services team within the Hunter New England Local Health District.

Remuneration : $29.05 Per Hour +Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Employment Type : Permanent Part Time

Location : Calvary Mater, Newcastle

Position Classification : Hospital Assistant Grade 2

Hours Per Week : 32

About The Role

As a Hospital Assistant (Catering), you’ll play an essential role in supporting patient care by delivering high-quality food services. You will be rostered within the Calvary Mater Hospital and will contribute to patient wellbeing by ensuring meals are prepared, handled, and delivered with care, hygiene, and attention to detail - in accordance with Food Safety standards.

About You

- Experience in a hospital or aged care food services environment.
- Robust understanding of Food Safety practices and WHS principles.
- Effective communicator with a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet service needs.
