Role: Technical Writer & Content Manager
Location: Melbourne, Sydney
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a technical project environment.
Key skills:
* Tertiary qualifications or certification in Knowledge Management, Communications, Adult Learning & Education, Business, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical project (preferably Telecommunications).
* Proven technical writing experience in producing documentation, refining work instructions and defining processes.
* Demonstrated expertise in technical writing, editing, content management, process excellence and procedural documentation.
* Familiarity with business process engineering, re-engineering, document production, publication and management standards.
* Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall project management methodologies and change management methodologies like Prosci and ADKAR.
* Ability to read, write and explain technical ideas in user-friendly language.
* Content creation for various formats including HTML, PDF, Help files.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the content lifecycle from creation to archiving knowledge articles.
* Curate and moderate user-generated content.
* Organize, categorize and make knowledge accessible, searchable and easy to understand.
* Create and maintain operational documents for Retail Service Providers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define document requirements and validate information.
* Report on progress, manage governance procedures and facilitate document reviews.
