Job Summary:
The Compliance Coordinator is accountable for assisting with all aspects of compliance activities and systems on site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating all aspects of Emergency response procedures and systems on site, including Mines Rescue personnel
* Statutorily appointed as Fire Officer, including maintaining firefighting standards including equipment, training and inspections
* Ensuring safe work practices are carried out in line with department targets
* Liaising with Statutory Officials to assist with business requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
In-depth knowledge of the Coal Mining Health and Safety Act and Regulations is required. You must have experience in a similar role or in a statutory position within an underground mining operation and a track record identifying risks and implementing safe working practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Queensland coal mining statutory qualification (Queensland 3rd class Deputy Certification or equivalent)
* S1, S2, S3 and G2 or G3 qualifications
* RIIERR201 – Conduct Fire Team Operations certification

This is a full-time permanent position based at Moranbah North Mine, QLD.
