About the role:
The Technology Operations team is seeking an Analyst Technology Operations Centre to join our 24×7 operations on a 7 days/nights on 7 days off roster, based in the Perth Remote Operations Centre. Reporting to the Supervisor Technology Operations Center, you will play a key role in keeping our mining technology stable and reliable by monitoring critical systems, responding to incidents, and supporting day‑to‑day operations.
You will provide first‑level awareness and action for essential systems across our mining, processing, rail, and communications environments, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved quickly. Working closely with internal technical teams and external vendors, you will help maintain the health and performance of systems such as auto‑drilling, Autonomous Haulage, Process Control, Rail Control, and TETRA Radio.
Your work supports safe, efficient, and continuous operations through strong situational awareness, proactive problem‑solving, and adherence to established Technology governance processes.
Duties:
* Maintain real‑time situational awareness of OT systems by monitoring dashboards and alerts.
* Detect, triage, and respond to incidents, escalating to specialist teams or vendors when required.
* Coordinate field and technical resources to support timely restoration of communications and OT services.
* Record accurate incident details in the ITSM system and provide clear stakeholder updates.
* Coordinate and track field maintenance activities for communications and OT infrastructure.
* Support Technology governance processes including change, request, and asset management.
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve system reliability, monitoring, and support processes.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience supporting IT and/or operational technology systems in mining, industrial, or complex operational environments.
* Exposure to OT platforms such as autonomous systems, drilling, networks, communications, or process control.
* Demonstrated experience in incident management, real‑time operations, and ITSM workflows.
* Experience in control room, remote operations, or 24×7 environments.
* Previous ITSM Tool Use (ServiceNow highly desirable)
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to coordinate service restoration activities.
* Experience working in high‑availability, safety‑critical or production‑focused environments.
