Accounting Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including sales, service jobs, parts inventory, payroll and customer accounts. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems.
* Process accounts payable and receivable.
* Reconcile bank, credit card and supplier statements.
* Prepare BAS, payroll, and superannuation reports.
* Track deposits, customer balances and finance payouts.
* Issue invoices for caravan sales, servicing and parts.
* Manage stock parts and inventory entries.
* Support the team with general admin and reporting.
* Assist with end of month and end of year processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
* Strong knowledge of computer programs and accounting systems.
* Understanding of retail, automotive or caravan industry bookkeeping is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills with external parties.
