Clinical Nurse Consultant - Drug & Alcohol - 5-10K Incentives Offered

The Dubbo Drug & Alcohol team are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team. Working Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm, you will join a professional, client focused team dedicated to their patient care. The CNC position will actively work with the Psychosocial team, Drug Court/MERIT, SUPPPs, Youth Program, and OTP programs, providing clinical review, treatment plan feedback, withdrawal management, and support for complex clients. The role also involves collaborating with the Addiction Medicine Specialist and GPs to assist in implementing treatment plans.
Utilising your case management and counselling skills your role will consist of completing assessments, developing treatment plans and report writing. Your knowledge of trauma informed care, cultural competence and active listening skills will ensure the best evidence based treatment to our clients. You will also liaise with service partners, General Practitioners and other health care providers scheduling follow up appointments and collating reports for the case management.
You will be well supported with an Orientation mentor and effective performance reviews to identify and plan for additional training opportunities.
