Media Assistant Role
This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who wants to start their career in the media industry. As a Media Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Planning & Trading team to drive strategic and innovative channel plans and help execute these for all clients.
You will be working with major global and Australian brands across industries, delivering solutions that inspire and perform. Your role will involve assisting with the administration of the media planning & trading process, including developing an understanding of the principles of planning and investment across all media channels for our clients.
In this role, you will also become proficient in the use & understanding of all media trading and planning tools, construction of client reporting documents and presentations, and campaign tracking against determined goals and targets to understand performance of specific campaigns.
You will work closely with the media & publisher partners to develop key relationships, ensure maximum attention to detail and data/information accuracy, and take pride in all work delivered.
Key Responsibilities
* Develops an understanding of the principles of planning and investment across all media channels for our clients
* Becomes proficient in the use & understanding of all media trading and planning tools
* Construction of client reporting documents and presentations
* Campaign tracking against determined goals and targets to understand performance of specific campaigns
* Works closely with media & publisher partners to develop key relationships
Requirements
* Graduate - 12 months experience ideally in a media agency or with publisher or in marketing support role
* Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
* Passion for consumer behaviour, media and future trends
* Ability to build strong relationships with media partners
* Able to think laterally about the potential solution to a request or client issue
* Basic presentation skills
* Strong numerical and mathematical skills
* Problem solving ability
* A self-starter and able to show initiative to uncover solutions to problems
* Ability to manage a broad scope of tasks and manage time & workload to deliver on deadlines
