Role
St Nicholas Early Education supports and partners with families to nurture and inspire children as they develop the skills to flourish at home, in care, and in communities. We are currently seeking Early Childhood Educators (Certificate III & Diploma) to join our well‑established services – Chisholm, Gillieston Heights, Lochinvar and Fletcher – on a permanent full‑time or permanent part‑time basis.
As an educator at St Nicholas, you will play a vital role in shaping children’s early learning through thoughtful, responsive experiences. You will work in a supportive team culture with opportunities to further your professional growth and will be recognised for your contribution to children, families, and colleagues.
Experience and Criteria Skills and Experiences
- The capability to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for their age groups/stages of development
- Knowledge of health, hygiene and nutritional needs of children
- Experience with or interest in additional needs/challenging behaviours
Demonstrated Understanding
- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting, and Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices
Qualifications
- An approved Certificate III or Diploma‑level qualification for the purposes of the education and care services national law and regulations
- Child protection qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Working with Children Check verification number
