We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team based in Welshpool. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product, process, and supplier quality by identifying risks early, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
The Role
* Conduct incoming, in‐process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
* Identify, report, and manage non‐conformances, including supplier‐related issues
* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone)
* Monitor supplier quality performance and coordinate resolutions
* Participate in product, process, and engineering change management
* Track and report quality KPIs and maintain accurate documentation (QMS, SharePoint)
* Perform Gemba walks and engage with production teams to identify risks and improvements
* Ensure calibration and compliance of measuring equipment
* Support commissioning activities and investigate customer warranty issues
About You Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality role within manufacturing or production
* Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools
* Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
