At Mr Scott's Maintenance Services, we're a friendly, fast-growing family business that looks after repairs, maintenance, and small projects for homes and commercial properties across the Gold Coast.
We're on the lookout for an energetic all-rounder who's keen to tackle a wide range of jobs from-plasterboard repairs, painting, to carpentry, fencing, and general maintenance.
If you're someone who enjoys variety, likes working with your hands, and takes pride in getting things done right, this could be the perfect fit.
The Role – What You'll Be Doing
You'll be hands-on from the get-go, helping with:
• Plasterboard patching and repairs
• Painting interior and exterior
• Painting work – doors, frames, skirting, decking
• Paint prep
• A mix of other maintenance jobs depending on the day
No two days are the same — you'll need to be adaptable and confident taking on different types of work, completing them to a solid standard in a reasonable timeframe.
What We're Looking For
• Solid experience across a range of handyman, building, or maintenance work
• Minimum 3-5 years of handyman or maintenance experience required
• Physically fit and able to handle a variety of jobs
• A good attitude and willingness to learn on the go
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained
• Full Australian driver's licence and White Card
• Company vehicle will be provided for work purposes
• Police check (or willing to obtain)
• Must have basic hand tools available for use
Experience with plastering, painting, will really make you stand out.
