The Opportunity
We're seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to drive growth and support our customer base in Australia. The ideal candidate will be situated in or near Griffith, a key region for our existing customer base. This role involves collaborating closely with growers to offer innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
1. IDentify and build relationships with new customers in the horticultural sector
2. Provide hands-on product demonstrations and training at farms and offices
3. Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and profitability
4. Optimize the customer decision journey to minimize spend and resources, and maximize purchases and repurchases
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
6. Partner with the Product team to uncover new customer needs & inform product development
7. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities
8. Regular travel within the region to meet customers, and occasional attendance at conferences.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in agribusiness or AgTech
2. Background or experience in perennial tree crops, agronomy, or horticulture
3. Strong understanding of farming systems, soil science, nutrition, and irrigation
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
5. Ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision
6. World-Class service delivery & customer-centric attitude
7. A valid driver's license and own vehicle
8. Valid work permit for Australia (if applicable)
