The Role
We are looking for a Network Engineer to work from our Brendale office in Queensland
Take your part in the MarchNet team delivering smarter telecommunication services to remote locations. MarchNet builds and operates a network that we are proud of.
Responsibilities and duties of this role include:
Key Responsibilites
* Create network designs delivering high-capacity services to regional and remote locations for the Pre-Sales and Projects Teams
* Configuring equipment for projects
* Hands-on and remote assistance for the Projects Team delivering the solution you designed
* Ongoing escalated support for the carrier network
* Create documentation that captures all required details to support completed projects
* Proactively review and suggest improvements to the carrier network
* Take responsibility for customer communication, escalate as required to management or other teams as appropriate.
* Ability to both develop and follow processes to always ensure standardised and robust delivery of customer services.
* Participation in after hours on-call roster.

The following skills/qualifications are preferred:
* Previous Network support experience
* Some form of Cisco Certification
* Experience with Mikrotik Routers and RouterOS highly desired
