Join a premium client embarking on a strategic transformation to modernize their data management and storage capabilities. Now 12 months into the program, the focus is shifting from legacy on-premise systems to a cloud-first architecture, with Databricks as the central platform. The ingestion layer and foundational artifacts are in place; the business-facing data layer is yet to be developed. This is where you come in to help build robust, scalable data solutions that empower business intelligence and analytics.
Your Role
We're seeking two experienced Test Analysts with a strong background in data testing, particularly within Database and Data Warehouse environments. You'll play a critical role in validating data flows, ensuring accuracy, and embedding quality into the transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute test cases for data validation and transformation.
* Write complex SQL queries to support testing and analysis.
* Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to ensure test coverage.
* Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Test Analyst on data-centric projects.
* Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
* Solid understanding of data testing methodologies and best practices.
* Experience in Data Warehouse environments and ETL processes.
* Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
* Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
