Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with all after hours clinical teams to coordinate an effective centralised bed management systemOversee the operations of the Horsham Campus to ensure optimal patient access and flowMaintain knowledge and understanding of all points of access into the campus, across Grampians Health and the Grampians regionEnsure referrals from other health services are triaged and prioritised for admission and a timely safe transfer plan is implementedKeep team members focused when under pressure through role modelling a calm approach, adopting a positive outlook and offering support where necessary
Skills & Experience
Registered Nurse or Midwife with experience in an acute hospital settingStrong organisational and communication skills Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a teamRelevant post graduate qualifications, management experience desirable

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 5 which ranges from $66.86 per hour.
