The Role
We are seeking a BMS Technician to join our SA Automation & Controls team to assist with Building Automation service and maintenance works.
Your purpose will be to maintain and service Building Management Systems, respond to Airmasters customers' requirements as directed, deliver small project works and and provide on and off-site technical support.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* Relevant Trade Qualification (Refrigeration Mechanic, Electrician)
* Experience with Controls - DDC and BMS, and a strong knowledge of Building Mechanical Services
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with pleasant phone manner
* Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructions
* Deliver BMS engineering on time and within budget for controls-related work that meets the expectation of the client
* Ability to build strong client relationships based on trust and respect
* Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
* Reliable, self-motivated and well presented
