We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Central Coast Lifestyles Program, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Job Description:
In this role, you will provide high-quality support to clients in their daily lives, helping them to achieve their goals and build meaningful connections with their community.
Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalized support to clients, including assistance with personal care, medication administration, and manual handling.
* Support clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.
* Support clients to engage and participate in the community, promoting social inclusion and connection.
* Build positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and respect.
* Transport clients in your own car, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Professional experience in Behaviour Support or similar field, or lived experience preferred.
* A client-focused approach to care, driven by a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
* Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 weekdays and Saturdays.
* A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
* Comfortable traveling to all locations listed above.
