Primary objective
Provide a customer focused service to potential employees, new employees, and relevant managers prior to commencement and upon
commencement. Ensure a smooth, positive, and meaningful recruitment and on-boarding experience whilst complying with applicable
industrial instruments, policies, and procedures.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. To provide Big Rivers Region with responsive operational support in the development, maintenance and delivery of all recruitment and
on-boarding functions and activities for all clinical positions.
2. Coordinate internal and external advertising via eRecruit and maintain internal recruitment databases as required.
3. Provide specialist administrative support to the Clinical Employment Service Team.
4. Provide information and assistance with HR processes to managers, i.e. commencement, advertising, selection panels, higher duties
allowance, staff relocation allowances, staff movements, and timesheets.
5. Create and maintain Personnel Files for incoming staff and transfer to the Clinical Manager once staff member commences in their
clinical area.
6. Provide effective liaison service with Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) recruitment, employment services,
and payroll to ensure that a quality and timely service is provided.
1. Develop and implement procedures for the efficient and effective operation of recruitment and on-boarding functions.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Sound knowledge and practical application of recruitment management practices and employment legislation, relevant enterprise
agreements and employment practices.
2. Ability to provide a high level efficient administrative service including demonstrated experience with a range of relevant computer
programs, especially word processing and data base management.
3. Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify issues, options, priorities and cost-effective solutions for the
efficient and effective use of resources whilst maintaining a culture of continuous improvement with positive contributions to change
processes.
1. Demonstrated ability to work reliably and flexibly as part of a diverse team, follow directions and use time management skills to
prioritise work and execute tasks.
