About the Role
We are looking for a Pilot Support Engineer to support the delivery of customer pilots and proof of concepts. This role exists to ensure that pilots are executed smoothly, consistently, and with high quality outputs that customers can clearly understand and trust. You will work closely with Solution Consultants to prepare customer datasets, execute tests, review outputs, and package results in a clear, structured, and customer‐ready way.
What you'll be doing
Data preparation and quality assurance
* Organise customer files and datasets into clear, structured formats.
* Review documents and data for quality, completeness, and consistency.
* Identify and categorise document types such as identity documents, forms, and statements.
* Ensure correct naming, grouping, and labelling of all pilot assets.
* Manual extraction and data‐entry from large volumes of test or sample documents.
Test execution and results review
* Upload and process customer data within the Fortiro platform.
* Execute scans and workflows according to defined pilot scope and test plans.
* Manual processing of sample documents (e.g., data extraction) to compare to automated results.
* Review outputs to identify inconsistencies, errors, and recurring patterns.
* Support re‐testing after configuration changes or data refinement.
Pilot execution support
* Assist with pilot environment setup and test configuration.
* Follow structured pilot processes to ensure consistency and reliability.
* Collaborate closely with Solution Consultants on timelines, dependencies, and next steps.
Output quality and iteration
* Recommend refinements to data inputs, configurations, or workflows.
* Identify gaps, anomalies, or underperforming areas in pilot results.
* Support iterative testing to improve the quality and clarity of outcomes.
Customer ready outputs
* Prepare clean and organised datasets suitable for customer sharing.
* Build simple slide decks that visualise findings and key performance results.
* Surface clear examples that demonstrate platform capability and outcomes.
Product and solution feedback
* Compare customer requirements with existing product capabilities.
* Flag limitations, bugs, or enhancement opportunities clearly.
* Feed structured insights back into product and solutions teams.
What you'll bring to the role
* Strong attention to detail and pride in high quality, accurate work.
* High level of organisation and comfort following structured workflows.
* Competence using spreadsheets (Excel) or similar data analysis tools.
* Comfortability working with documents, datasets, and categorisation tasks.
* Resilience with regards to time‐intensive, manual tasks that can be repetitive.

* Clear communication skills with the ability to summarise findings logically.
