our Carole Park plant on a permanent full-time basis.You will have experience and exposure within a manufacturing environment and be open to learn the necessary trade and skills to be successful.At James Hardie, we train and invest in our people to ensure we set you up for success.You will be open to work across a day and night shift and also be flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.What the role involves:Monitoring the flow cement and other raw materials and products into machines, and adjusting controls to product run specificationsCollecting and conducting quality audits on samplesOperating machines in either production or finishing in a variety of roles including stacking, loading, driving etcPerforming machine cleaning activities and participating in maintenance down daysCarry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicableEnsure process efficiencies are achieved and maintainedEnsure production is in line with the specified production scheduleEnsure product quality is in accordance with relevant specification and that process checks are performed as requiredActively participate in improvement projectsComplying with all WHS safety assurance environmentForklift License is preferred but not essentialStrong mechanical aptitudeDemonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplaceAbility to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operationStrong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsAll successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical
