An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic
Head of Business Operations
to join the Executive Team. Reporting directly to the Principal and the Board of Directors, this critical leadership role will manage all areas of the College's business operations, including finance, administration, risk, property, and ICT.
Responsibilities
Executive Leadership
* Contribute to the strategic direction of the College.
* Promote the College's values and support key partnerships.
* Lead and participate in College committees and community initiatives
* Foster a culture of care, inclusion and social responsibility.
Finance, Business Operations & Risk
* Oversee business systems, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate on strategic planning and manage risk frameworks.
* Lead all financial functions including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit.
* Ensure strong financial controls, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
* Manage College assets, investments, insurance and revenue strategies.
* Explore and implement revenue generation strategies.
Property & Facilities
* Oversee maintenance and capital works programs.
* Manage infrastructure projects and ensure safe, compliant operations
* Oversee contractor performance and facility usage.
Administration & ICT
* Lead and develop the Business Operations team and administrative staff.
* Chair the College's Work Health and Safety Committee.
* Oversee ICT infrastructure, upgrades and systems development
* Represent the College on employment and industrial matters where required.
* Provide operational support to College associations and the Building Fund.
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will hold
CA or CPA qualifications
and bring proven experience in senior business or financial management, ideally within the education or not-for-profit sectors. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to service excellence are essential.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities
* High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
* Current (or willingness to obtain) Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
