JOB SUMMARY:
Supervision of all employees assigned to the Security Department, with full responsibility for performance management of said staff. Manage and oversee all assigned areas to maintain a safe environment for all employees, vendors, and personnel. Support all areas in their security needs and be an integral part of the facility needs. Establish working relationships with local police and fire departments, as well as with facility reports and others. Demonstrates and abides by Andy Frain Services Core Values and the operating principles set forth, while maintaining 100% compliance with all staff training. Observes and reports activities and demonstrates strong leadership skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
* The delivery of quality service and positive interactions with our client is critical to the completion of all the tasks within this job description. Greet all visitors, vendors, and employees while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism. This is also a requirement of your staff.
* Provide lead direction at assigned client site; enforce security/safety programs and ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed and reports/logs are filed daily/weekly.
* Develop and implement security procedures and compliance with facility policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal laws. Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and assist as needed.
* Knowledge of life systems, fire panels, CCTV system computers. Staff is to ensure the continuous and safe operation of all elevators and access doors is critical. Maintain contact with authorized personnel/contractors who are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of said devices.
* Equipment operation will include use of portable radios, telephones, copy and fax machines, computers, and tools.
* May counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seek advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counseling and disciplinary actions.
* Assists in the training of Security Officers and review of post orders ensuring that Security Officers have competent knowledge of assignments.
* Communicate with General Manager of Security Operations daily/weekly regarding account and Security Officer performance. Communicate daily weekly regarding security and safety issues/changes that need to be implemented.
* Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
* In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives, act to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts with scheduling of security team.
* Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with staff to outline tasks and responsibilities. Ensure that staff sign in and out for their scheduled shifts accurately for every shift worked.
* Meet with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
* Carry out other duties as assigned by General Manager of Security Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
* Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
* Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV and computer systems, 1 year of which must be in the capacity of a supervisory position within the security industry.
* State Guard License will be required upon hiring.
* CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
