About the role:

We have a need for someone with availability to cover the following shifts:
* Mondays 7am-3pm
* Thursdays 7am-3pm
* Fridays 7am-3pm
* Saturdays 7am-11am
* Sundays 7am-11am
Our community nurses provide vital care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes. You’ll be comfortable driving around the ACT (and Queanbeyan) providing services such as wound, catheter, stoma and bowel care, and administering medications/injections. You will be responsible for supporting care plans and provide solutions tailored to each customer’s individual needs.
As a core member of our team, you’ll work closely with the families, General Practitioners and others in the KinCare team to ensure a holistic approach to each customer’s health needs, including their physical, emotional and social well-being.
About you:
* Full AHPRA registration
* An RN with acute clinical experience (ideally some exposure to Community)
* Full Driver’s licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
* The ability to be flexible, resilient and to make decisions confidently
* Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly, previous experience an advantage
* Ability to work autonomously
* Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
