About The Role
As a Clinical Psychology Registrar, work collaboratively with young people and their family to identify their support needs, goals and develop collaborative care plans.
This is a temporary part time role (30 hours per week) to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension due to ongoing funding.

Duties
* Work collaboratively with young people within a family inclusive approach
* Provide high quality psycho-social assessment and evidence-based, focused psychological interventions
* Ensure services delivered are developmentally appropriate and tailored to young people aged 12-25
Skills & Experience
* Current AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist, working towards clinical endorsement as a registrar.
* Eligible for a registered psychologist Medicare rebate.
* Experience in assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders, and provision of evidence-based focused psychological strategies.
* An understanding of key issues in relation to the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems.
About Headspace
headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Nowra work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.
Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Nowra. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
