About the role
Bathurst Hospital Rehabilitation Ward is looking for a dynamic, energetic educator with a passion for engaging with people and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
You should be a creative problem solver, able to contribute to the ongoing development of the unit, and enthusiastic and supportive in staffing the ward.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical teaching and education to staff and patients on the Rehabilitation Ward
Collaborate with allied health, nursing and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement student learning outcomes
Develop and deliver assessment tools and educational resources for the ward
Assist in unit quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with health policies
Qualifications and Experience
Registered Nurse with clinical experience in rehabilitation or related area
Experience or qualification in clinical education or teaching
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Commitment to working in a rural health district and ability to support a multidisciplinary team
