Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a growing and highly regarded independent co‑educational Christian school with over 1,600 students from Pre‑K to Year 12. Leadership
Lead a team of committed Music teachers to effectively teach NESA Music courses, utilising RHAC's five Teaching and Learning Principles.
RHAC has a separate Head of Extra‑Curricular Music who is responsible for leading ensembles, music tutors and other music opportunities for students not related to curriculum music. The Head of Music will practically support the Head of Extra‑Curricular Music by contributing to events such as school musical productions and band camps.
Teaching & Learning
Construct teaching programs, based on applicable NESA syllabi, that will enable you to:
* Orchestrate engaging lessons that maximise learning for all students in the class.
* Effectively teach students with identified needs.
* Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce in a way that will help them to improve.
* Achieve strong academic results.
Other Responsibilities
Involvement in college activities and events including:
* Some out of hours music events such as musical productions and band performances.
* Contributing to the student wellbeing programme, extra‑curricular activities and camps.
* Attending chapel, assemblies and other college activities.
* Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties.
* Attending college events, including parent‑teacher meetings.
The Contract
All teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi Enterprise Agreement 2025 (CMEA). The CMEA outlines teachers' salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities.
In addition to the standard salary scale for teachers, the appointee will receive a Level 2 Leadership allowance. In recognition of the above‑mentioned responsibilities, the appointee will receive a non‑teaching allocation that takes into account their skills and experience. The specific allocation given will be discussed with the preferred candidate.

The College implements the Child Safe Standards developed by the Office of the Children's Guardian. All college staff receive annual training in Child Protection.
