 
        
        An exciting opportunity is now available for a Principal Advisor (Land Management) who will lead a team of professionals that is responsible for providing advice on protecting the existing and future state-controlled road network against adverse impacts that result from developments and activities that affect the state-controlled road corridor and regional projects. 
**Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required**: 
Tertiary qualification and relevant professional experience in the fields of either Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Civil Engineering or Project Management. 
Knowledge and experience in strategic land use planning such as Priority Development Areas, Infrastructure Designations and Local Government Planning Scheme Amendments. 
Stakeholder Relationship experience, specifically in an infrastructure or transport environment 
Well developed written and oral communication skills 
Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders 
Proven leadership experience 
Strong organisation skills 
Ability to work within strict deadlines 
Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Suite and publishing software
