About The Podiatrist Senior – Allied Health
The purpose of this position is to deliver high quality clinical podiatry services to patients within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service, to optimise health outcomes in accordance with the organisational goals.
About The Podiatrist Senior – Hospital in the Home
The purpose of the role is to deliver high level podiatry services and leadership within the West Moreton Health Hospital in the Home (HITH) Team, including Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM HITH) and Multidisciplinary Avoidance and Post-Acute Service (MAPS). 
The Podiatrist works as a member of the multidisciplinary team, delivering services to the patients of West Moreton Health. Podiatry Clinical Services within West Moreton Health include the provision of outpatient, inpatient and sub-acute clinical services. 
Services may be provided in hospital, a clinic, or patient/'s homes.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level of knowledge and skills in contemporary clinical practice standards in Podiatry and the management of musculoskeletal and acute high-risk foot pathology.
- High level of communication, negotiation, and consultative skills, with an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary health care team and contribute to the career development of self and others in a dynamic environment.
- A high level of understanding of a patient focused approach to care and the skills required to build good rapport with patients, including effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise and plan service delivery.
- A strong understanding of the relevant standards, processes, and guidelines.
Mandatory Requirements 
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
