Responsibilities
* Perform all work in accordance with site health, environmental, and community policies, systems, and procedures.
* Undertake planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse range of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including high‐voltage repairs.
* Diagnose faults and recommend effective, long‐term repair solutions.
* Develop and troubleshoot sophisticated PLC motor control systems for wharf machines and conveyor systems.
* Complete installation and maintenance activities for hazardous areas and gas systems.
* Improve plant reliability by identifying and eliminating equipment failures, while actively contributing to a strong site safety culture.
Qualifications
* A strong commitment to safe work practices, both independently and as part of a team.
* A current Queensland Electrical Licence (cert III in instrumentation highly regarded).
* Experience working in fixed plant maintenance environments.
* Active participation in safety systems and site‐based initiatives.
* Sound judgement and decision‐making skills to maintain plant integrity.
* Proven ability to plan, prioritise and execute work efficiently.
* The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to team outcomes.
* A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and identifying efficiency or cost‐saving opportunities.
