About The Role
We're currently seeking a casual Lab Technician to join our high-performing Inorganics team located in the newly built Canning Vale Facility in Perth. This is a technical, laboratory-based role that plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of results to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Water and soil Inorganic Chemistry techniques, including Sample weighing, filtration, acid digestion and extraction.
* Analysis of samples daily, ensuring key turnaround times and quality guidelines are always met.
* Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
* Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.
Skills and Experiences
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
* At least 30 hours of availability Monday to Friday
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive, 'can-do' attitude
* A Certificate 4 or degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferred
* Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
