About the role The Fitter and turner shall assess, identify faults, record and repair pumps, electric motors, gearboxes and generators by following our client's standards and procedures to ensure customer requirements are always met. Perform machining tasks as required. Key Responsibilities for the role Disassemble, assess, and reassemble all sorts of pumps, generators, electric motors and gearboxes Assess, identify and record any damage on pump, electric motors, generators or gearboxes Safely perform all tests / electrical tests required and sign off on job card Perform machining tasks using lathe, milling machine and other equipment as required Work in accordance with company's WHS and Quality system Assist with the calibration and maintenance of plant and equipment as required Skills & experience Must have machining experience, using manual lathe & milling machine etc (essential) Must have mechanical fitting experience (essential) High risk license - forklift (preferred, or willing to obtain one) Proven problem solving & fault-finding skills Team player with strong interpersonal skills Ability to follow company procedures & policies and comply with Quality Assurance &WHS requirements at all times Benefits and Perks This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative company.
