About Us: We are a dedicated paediatric assessment and therapy clinic that provides specialised services for children, focusing on autism, ADHD, and cognitive development. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that every child receives thorough, accurate, and compassionate assessment and therapy. We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to deliver high-quality assessments and therapy. 
Job Description: As a Registered Psychologist, you will conduct assessments for children with Autism, ADHD, and cognitive difficulties. You will be required to support families through the assessment and diagnostic process with compassion and understanding. Additionally, you will need to provide therapy for clients ongoingly after their assessment process is complete. This will include working with our multidisciplinary team to ensure each child is getting the best tailored care for their needs. 
Your responsibilities may also include mentoring and training less experienced psychologists and clinical staff on our specific service delivery model, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in paediatric assessments. 
We offer some flexibility with working hours within our clinic schedule, however Wednesdays are whole team workday. All team members are required to work onsite on Wednesdays. 
Key Responsibilities: 
- Conduct Assessments: Conduct and supervise standardised psychological assessments for children, focusing on Autism, ADHD, and cognitive evaluations. This includes administering and interpreting tests, preparing reports with quality and conclusive reporting skills, and offering clear recommendations for families. 
- Deliver Therapeutic Support: Provide ongoing therapy to children and their families through evidence-based therapy modalities. We offer services onsite and via telehealth. Occasional Offsite visits may be required. 
- Staff Supervision & Training: Mentor and support junior psychologists and clinical staff by providing guidance, supervision, and training in the administration of assessments, report writing, and clinic service delivery model. 
- Research & Continued Education: Stay updated on the latest research and trends in paediatric psychology, autism, ADHD, and cognitive development to ensure that the clinic’s assessments and practices reflect the most current evidence-based methods. 
- Client & Family Interaction: Meet with families to explain assessment results, provide support, and discuss recommendations for follow-up services or interventions. Liaising with other professionals and supports involved in the care of the child including occasional offsite visits. 
Key Qualifications and Skills: 
- Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Psychology 
- Certification: Current applicable registration with AHPRA as a psychologist and a valid Working with Children’s Check, professional indemnity insurance 
- Experience: Current registration as a Registered Psychologist, with experience in conducting paediatric assessments. 
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardised psychological assessments (e.g., ADOS, WISC, Conners, WIAT, ADI-R etc.) and a robust knowledge of Autism, ADHD, and cognitive testing. Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness 
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with management, colleagues, and families. 
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all clinical work.
