Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Develop, maintain, and leverage strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure products and services continue to meet customer requirements
* Lead, coach and develop all members of the external sales in field team to maximize their effectiveness by ensuring superior sales, technical and customer relationship building skills
* Build and execute collaborative regional business plans to drive sales growth across key growth pillars
* Exceed sales and margin budgets through effective sales management and implementation of new sales strategies and procedures
* Conduct regular fieldwork to help develop the skills of sales team members and maintain regular frontline customer contact
* Review actual sales against budgets and taking corrective action against discrepancies
* Use data to highlight opportunities and targeted growth areas within your customer base
* Regional travel throughout North Queensland
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Extensive experience within a similar role where your key focus was on people management, coaching and mentoring sales staff to ensure they are developing and meeting KPI’s
* Prior experience in client visits and consistently exploring new development opportunities
* Strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills
* Strong business development experience especially with B2B sales coupled with outstanding negotiation and presentation skills to maximise your potential
* Industry knowledge and/or experience highly regarded
* A valid driver licence is essential
