Software Commercial Management Specialists

We are seeking experienced Software Commercial Management professionals to support a major Commonwealth Government agency with the commercial, contractual and lifecycle management of a large and complex enterprise software portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on seniority and role alignment, responsibilities may include:
* Software commercial strategy, planning and optimisation
* End-to-end software contract and licence management
* Vendor engagement and complex commercial negotiations
* Software procurement support, including evaluation and compliance
* Licence compliance, audit support and risk management
* Cost optimisation, consolidation and value-realisation initiatives
* Advisory input into enterprise IT and cloud strategies
* Development of software lifecycle and commercial maturity frameworks
* Reporting, analysis and executive-level briefings
* Knowledge transfer and uplift of internal capability
Skills & Experience
We are interested in candidates with demonstrated experience in:
* Software commercial management within large, complex organisations
* Enterprise software licensing and contract management
* Working within regulated or government environments
* Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) or equivalent frameworks
* Whole-of-Government software arrangements (desirable)
* Vendor ecosystems including (but not limited to):
* Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, Broadcom, SAS
* Licence metrics, compliance and audit readiness
* Strategic negotiations and high-value contract renewals
* IT service management and asset management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, ISO
