A great career opportunity exists for a Commissioning Engineer, whose sole responsibility is the installation and commissioning of equipment, the handover to customers on installation sites worldwide.
Job Responsibilities Include
* Commissioning of processing systems, plant/machinery, parts and electrical equipment.
* Installation of processing equipment.
* Supervision of on-site personnel.
* Provide assistance with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
* Respond to and arrange repair of system/equipment breakdown.
* Customer training.
* Regular reporting and feedback during each project.
Required Education and Experience
* Electrical and/or Mechanical trade certification.
* Previous experience with food processing equipment and systems.
* A good knowledge of PLC's and Process Control.
* An understanding of equipment technical specifications and application to processing systems.
* Well-developed planning and organization skills.
* Must be able to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.
* Must possess a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
* Must be physically fit to perform the inherent requirements of the role, including to be able to sit, stand, squat for prolonged periods.
* Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds onto and around manufacturing machinery and manufactured goods.
* Working in factory and office environments.
* PPE including hearing protection is required due to noise levels in factory environments.
* Travel to overseas destinations around the globe.
Additional Essential Requirements and Benefits
* Must be available to travel freely in support of installation and site works, both internationally and domestically for extended periods.
