This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You'll Be Doing
The Administration Officer provides the provision of a comprehensive range of high quality, timely and efficient administrative support to the team and/or department in line with current Far West Local Health District policies and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the Health Service.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible by selecting APPLY NOW below:
* Certificate III in Business administration and/or experience providing administration support, preferably within a healthcare setting.
* Demonstrated computer/data entry skills, specifically with MS office products in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet based applications and databases and experience in cash management, collection of fees and processing of accounts.
* Proficient organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and the ability to exercise basic problem solving skills using reference to established methods and procedures.
* Proficient interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
* Capacity to work under broad supervision and ability to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team and understanding of cultural awareness issues and the need for cultural sensitivity.
* The ability to travel when required within the Far West Local Health District facilities.
