Pursue a challenging role as Head of Sales and Marketing for a prominent 5-Star Hotel in the heart of Sydney. This iconic hotel offers an unforgettable experience, surrounded by vibrant restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment venues.
We welcome diverse guests every day, with a mix of corporate & leisure stays, and host various events throughout the year.
This full-time position involves leading the Sales and Conference & Events team to achieve maximum market position and deliver on business results.
The key responsibilities include:
* Drive proactive sales for a 241 room Hotel, 6 conference and events rooms, Windows on the Park, and Bistro 36.
* Maintain and develop relationships with current clients and explore new business opportunities.
* Lead and develop the Sales and Conference & Events team to meet and exceed their professional goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Demonstrated sales experience in a hotel with a focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) business.
* Ambitious, strategic thinker who can develop and communicate the hotel's sales vision.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with solid business acumen and commercial understanding.
* Hands-on leader who can foster a positive culture and loyalty within the team.
* Passion for forming ongoing relationships and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Experience and knowledge of Opera, CVENT, and Delphi is highly regarded.
