About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Wales West, working nights. The ideal candidate will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations, while respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.

* This role involves supporting people with various disabilities, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or other long-term complex needs, such as acquired brain injury, autism, personality disorder, and dementia.
* The successful candidate will work closely with the people we support to enable them to live a full and happy life, participate in activities within the community, and run their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
* Support people with various disabilities, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or other long-term complex needs.
* Work closely with the people we support to enable them to live a full and happy life, participate in activities within the community, and run their own homes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A passion for supporting people with disabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Enhanced DBS clearance.
