What this role is all about
Based in our Canberra office, this role provides an opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Mechanical Services team in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality building services design across multiple sectors, working alongside some of the industry's best and brightest. You'll lead elements of design, liaise closely with clients, and help shape innovative engineering outcomes across the built environment. This diverse role will see you planning and delivering projects for a variety of clients, coordinating technical requirements, and representing Lucid at project and industry meetings.
How you'll contribute day-to-day
* Perform detailed mechanical engineering design calculations and documentation
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal project stakeholders
* Attend and contribute to project and site meetings with Project Team Leaders
* Support the delivery of high-quality HVAC and building services solutions
* Represent Lucid at industry and networking events
What sets you up for success
* Holds a Mechanical Engineering degree recognised in Australia
* Has a minimum of 3 years' experience in building services (HVAC)
* Is proficient in CAD and Revit for design and documentation
* Has a strong understanding of electrical, fire, and hydraulic disciplines
* Demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
* Has experience engaging directly with clients and project stakeholders
* Holds full working rights in Australia with no restrictions
* Brings a progressive mindset with a willingness to improve how things are done
