Human Resource Specialist
Provide high-level advice and support to regional and state office managers and staff on employee lifecycle including entitlements, HR systems, establishment management and local recruitment and selection. You will be a valued member of the team working closely with staff, managers and decision makers to progress day-to-day human resource entitlements and activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing timely and quality advice and support to employee and manager enquiries, ensuring effective application of HR policy, procedures and resources.
* Maintaining knowledge and awareness of HR practices, systems and resources to ensure compliance with current legislation, awards and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
* Liaising and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure activities are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
* Contribution to building HR capability across our diverse workforce through the design and implementation of (online and face to face) procedures, guidelines and resources.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
* Knowledge and/or experience in contemporary HR management and best practice.
