This is a 12‐month fixed‐term, full‐time position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency. The ideal commence date will be Week 7 of Term 2, but this is negotiable. We encourage all applicants available now and from Term 3 to apply.

The Role
The successful applicant should display strong professional knowledge, effective teaching practices, and relevant experience to deliver an engaging and meaningful secondary school Science curriculum. Teaching practices must align with the Whole School Instructional Model, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all learning areas.
Our ideal applicant will be dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment, offering meaningful learning opportunities that empower students to reach their full potential. Knowledge of a Positive Behaviour Support whole‐school framework is desired.
Strong interpersonal skills are highly regarded, as the role involves close collaboration with students, staff, and the wider school community. Eligibility
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
