About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic swimming instructor to deliver safe, effective and professional swimming lessons.
The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of aquatic education programs and services.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of teaching swimming and water safety techniques.
* Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive experience.
What We're Looking For
* AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification.
* Availability to work on Saturdays.
* Relevant swim coaching certifications.
* Current certification for First Aid, CPR or willingness to obtain.
* National Police Check.
* Positive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
* Safeguarding Children Training Certificate and annual refresher training.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
