Motel Management Role

Key Responsibilities
Guest Services and Reception:
* Manage guest check-ins, inquiries, and bookings with professionalism and a warm welcome.
Revenue Management:
* Monitor and adjust room rates in response to local events in liaison with owners.
Administration:
* Respond to guest feedback, manage stock orders and inventory, and maintain operational records.
Property Operations:
* Oversee housekeeping and laundry teams, basic room and property maintenance, pool care, and grounds upkeep.
Compliance and Safety:
* Ensure adherence to Work Health & Safety (WHS), fire regulations, licensing, and essential service requirements.
Trade and Contractor Liaison:
* Organise and coordinate external maintenance services when needed.
Requirements:
* Proven motel management experience in a hands-on role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse range of guests and stakeholders.
* High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Xero (or similar accounting software).
* Experience working with online travel agencies (OTAS), including Booking.com and Expedia.
* Ability to live onsite, work weekends and public holidays.
