About the role
Hands-on role for an experienced technician skilled in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Work with modern tools in a busy, high-performing workshop. Tackle breakdowns, engine work, and mentor junior techs. Monday to Friday schedule with optional overtime.
Duties
* Run advanced diagnostics to identify faults fast
* Perform regular servicing to keep vehicles in top shape
* Respond to breakdowns and deliver quick fixes
* Repair engines, brakes, and key mechanical systems
* Maintain accurate job and service records
* Support and guide junior technicians
* Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards
* Collaborate with a skilled workshop team to deliver quality results
Skills and experience
* Proven experience as an automotive or diesel technician
* Strong background in diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
* Expertise in engine, brake, suspension, and driveline systems
* Confident handling breakdowns and on-the-spot fixes
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Skilled in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to train and support junior technicians
* Must have a valid driver's licence
