Our client, a thriving firm with an exciting and dynamic client base, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. They provide services to established and emerging companies across a diverse range of industries. Key responsibilities will include: - Independently leading the planning phases of audit files. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise financial audit strategies tailored to client needs. - Working closely with managers to anticipate and address potential challenges or budgetary constraints. - Conducting audits for diverse entities, including large proprietary companies, NFPs, and Government organisations. - Coordinating engagements independently and reporting directly to the Partner where necessary. - Ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory standards across various frameworks. - Analysing and documenting internal controls and control environments. - Drafting comprehensive management letters and completion reports. - Mentoring junior colleagues and fostering internal relationships. - Engaging with clients to identify future opportunities for collaboration. To succeed in this role, you will need: - 2-3 years of external audit experience within a professional services firm. - CA/CPA qualification or actively pursuing accreditation. - Impeccable attention to detail. - Experience in reviewing general-purpose accounts, including those of listed entities. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define scope effectively. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a passion for team development. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to Audit software. - Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent residency status.
