The International Sales Director will be a key addition to our team and the primary resource for Virtru's International Defense, Intelligence, and Industry customers. The ideal candidate will have a rolodex of key decision makers and influencers as well as demonstrated success selling software solutions.ResponsibilitiesManaging a growing portfolio of Virtru's International Defense, Intelligence, and Industry customers.Part of a growing federal team, work daily with head of federal organizationBuild and maintain an annualized plan to achieve quotaConsistently meet or exceed your assigned quotaLead relationships with value added resellers and system integratorsEmploy consultative sales skills to help develop and guide project requirementsAssist with product demos to prospects and customersLead and drive proposal creation and strategy, especially on pricing and Cost VolumesFind and develop detailed responses to win relevant RFPsQualificationsActive Australian Government security clearance at NV2 level (Positive Vetting preferred)Comfortable with regional travel across Australia and the Pacific (up to ~50%)10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales supporting government or highly regulated customersDemonstrated defense sector experience, with familiarity supporting coalition or multinational military customers across Indo-Pacific and allied defense environmentsMust be a deal hunter and strong closer with a demonstrated track record of successStrong technical aptitude of security and IT solutions — able to understand and explain complex technical products or issuesTechnical enough to do "2-legged" sales calls but also possess the ability to work closely on sales strategy with the Sales Engineering teamFamiliarity with fundamental elements of ICAM/IdAM (e.g., classification regimes; common access control approaches, to include RBAC and ABAC; PKI).Familiarity with Federal and DoW‐specific accreditation and certification processesFamiliarity with SaaS software salesAbility to think strategically and act tactically to create opportunity momentumStructured and well organized; ability to prioritize and forecast accuratelyStrong presentation skills in addition to exceptional written and verbal communicationPoised under pressure with excellent negotiating abilitiesPrevious start‐up experience is preferredVirtruvian QualitiesThinking outside of the box to respectfully challenge your teammates and managers in the pursuit of excellenceStrong sense of urgency with an action-oriented mindsetAble to collaborate and adapt to shifting priorities as business needs evolveComfortable with asynchronous communication including slack, email, zoom, etc.At Virtru, we believe people do their best work when their wellbeing is put first.
