Maternal and Child Health Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal and Child Health Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing culturally appropriate primary health care services to pregnant women, new mothers, and children.
* You will work closely with local communities, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective health promotion programs.
* Your key responsibilities will include providing antenatal care services, including advice on healthy eating and physical activity, referrals to other health services, and parenting advice.
* You will also provide postnatal care services, including breastfeeding support, parenting advice, and midwife consultations.
* In addition, you will collect relevant data and information pertaining to this position for reporting purposes as required by us and relevant funding bodies.
* You will support staff in the use and application of information management systems relevant to maternal and child health, including the monitoring and maintenance of data quality.
