Our City Works Road Construction team is looking for a self-motivated, hardworking and experienced individual to fill the position of Loader Operator. The role involves undertaking construction and maintenance of the City's roads, drainage and shared paths infrastructure in a safe, efficient andcost-effective manner and to agreed quality standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in road, drainage and shared pathconstruction
Practical experience with the safe operation of roadconstruction equipment
Current unrestricted HR-B (Heavy Rigid) class national driver's licence (as a minimum)
Loader Operator's Accreditation Certificate
Current Construction White Card
Roller Operator's Accreditation Certificate
Excellent observation and concentration skills
Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to read and accurately interpret plans, operating procedures and safety instructions

This permanent full-time Level 3 position attracts a salary range of $72,795 to $75,503 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
